Sulamot is very fortunate to have the generous support of the Azrieli Foundation. Jason van Eyk, Manager of Azrieli Art Initiatives at the Azrieli Foundation, recently visited two Sulamot Programs with Sulamot’s Chairperson, Rachel Ofer and Sulamot’s CEO, Yair Mashiach. One of the programs was at the Shavit Elementary School in Rechovot, where 96 children participate and the other was at the Shorashim State Religious Elementary School in Tel Aviv where 60 children participate in the Sulamot Program.
Jason van Eyk was very impressed with the student performances in Sulamot’s Advanced Program and was pleased to learn that some of the advanced students in the Shavit Elementary School are also studying at the Rechovot Music Conservatory. As well, some of the students from the Shorashim State Religious Elementary School in Tel Aviv are studying at the Tel Aviv Jaffa Music Center.
Without a doubt, thanks to the Azrieli Foundation, Sulamot is opening the world of music to Israel’s disadvantaged children and providing them with endless opportunities to showcase their creativity, boost their self-esteem and change the course of their lives.
