Machshava School, Migdal HaEmek

Thanks to the Hannah Glucksman z”l Program, 60 children in Migdal Ohr will participate in the Sulamot-Music for Social Change Program in September 2020.

The Machshava School, one of the educational institutions of Migdal Ohr in Migdal Haemek, is a warm home for young musicians. The children acquire knowledge of the basics of music and learn to play different musical instruments. Under the
Sulamot Program they will learn to play percussion and wind instruments.

Migdal Ohr was founded by Israel Prize laureate Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman in 1972. The school began with 18 students. Since then, over 15,000 youngsters have graduated from the Migdal Ohr, an institution that provides needy
and immigrant children with housing, schooling, medical and dental care, clothing, libraries, after school enrichment courses and vocational training.

Tax-Deductible donations to Sulamot may be done through the Worldwide Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
